The Secretary for Energy and Environmental Affairs waived the mandated requirements for environmental review of the proposed plan to reduce the dam on Nye Pond.

We are seeking a comprehensive environmental review, as mandated by Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA), and we are challenging the plan of Massachusetts Division of Fish and Wildlife (“MassWildlife”) to lower the pond.
